UK builds two new aircraft carriers

Two new aircraft carriers will be built by the British Government at a cost of US$8 billion.
The government says the two new aircraft carriers for both military strikes and humanitarian operations.
The two ships will be named HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales, to honour the reigning monarch and her son.
Each ship will be a similar size to the ocean liner, the QE2, with a flight deck the size of three football fields.
The ships will be in service by 2016.
