The LA Galaxy signed versatile forward Gordon Wild on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old German was selected by Atlanta United in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft and signed with D.C. United in 2019.
"Gordon is an attacking player who will add depth to our squad in multiple positions," said Galaxy general manager Dennis te Kloese. "We believe he has his best years of soccer ahead of him and can grow as a player in MLS. We are pleased to add Gordon to our roster."
Atlanta loaned Wild to the Charleston Battery of the USL Championship in 2018 and he tallied seven goals and three assists in 33 appearances (20 starts).
D.C. United loaned him to the USL's Loudoun United FC in 2019 and he registered 11 goals and three assists in 24 games (21 starts).
The five-time MLS Cup champion Galaxy open the 2020 season Saturday at home against the Vancouver Whitecaps.
